We visited Montjuïc Castle again on a recent trip to Spain. The castle is an old military fortress, with roots dating back from 1640, built on top of Montjuïc hill in Barcelona. There is lot to see at the castle, and there's been some new additions since our last visit pre-pandemic. One new discovery we made on this trip was the funicular railway, which connects the city metro system to the cable car station that takes you up the hill. This is by far the quickest, and easiest way to get to the castle. #castle #spain #montjuic
